The National Healthy Skin Guideline
The National Healthy Skin Guideline is available freely online, and is housed on the Telethon Kids Institute website with a suite of learning tools including photographs, a visual clinical handbook and an interactive questionnaire. It has been endorsed by close to 20 health organisations and was made possible thanks to funding from the Wesfarmers Centre of Vaccines and Infectious Diseases, based at Telethon Kids Institute, and HOT NORTH, based at the Menzies School of Health Research. I would also like to acknowledge the support of the Lowitja Institute and Menzies School of Health Research, who allowed us to update their previous flipchart resource, Recognising and Treating Skin Infections, for use alongside the new National Healthy Skin Guideline. Please share this link with your contacts and help us spread the word about the National Healthy Skin Guideline: www.telethonkids.org.au/skin-guidelines We also encourage you to share the social media releases from the Telethon Kids Institute Facebook and Twitter account about the National Healthy Skin Guideline and introductory video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3jXhONVl-E . We encourage you to take a look at the finalised versions of the Guideline, visual clinical handbook, quiz available on the website (www.telethonkids.org.au/skin-guidelines). We hope that you feel as proud as we do to promote such a landmark publication in Australian skin health.
