Resources

RHDAustralia hosts a suite of electronic and printed resources to inform and educate the community about acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD).

Resources reflect the latest best practice on a range of topics for understanding and managing ARF and RHD. They have been developed by RHDAustralia, Australian RHD register and control programs, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and our national and international partners.

1.  The 2020 Australian guideline for prevention, diagnosis and management of acute rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease (3rd edition) was developed by an ARF/RHD expert writing group. It contains recommendations for care for people with ARF and RHD that is both clinically sound and culturally safe.
