This online learning program provides information about acute rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease for people who work in community-based health support roles. On completion of this program, participants will be able to
- describe the actions required to prevent Strep A transmission.
- describe the actions required when throat or skin infections are present.
- describe acute rheumatic fever.
- describe the importance of Bicillin injections in preventing recurrent acute rheumatic fever.
